Playing around in Photoshop with a graphics tablet. Unbeatable combination for illustrative work. Whilst I think painting skills are invaluable (brush and wet, sloppy paint etc), it's hard to argue with the supreme ease of a fast computer-big monitor-tablet-Photoshop.
